The Internet Wrestling Community has spoken. The Wrestling Outlook has embedded their reaction towards the recent rumours of CM Punk quitting WWE.
An admin of The Pro Wrestling World on Facebook simply described almost everything WWE had given CM Punk and then suggested that if he left because of not being in the title picture or main event for a couple of months, that's pretty selfish. This post has left out the fact that CM Punk also was given the cover spot for WWE '13 and also his monthly new t-shirts that earns him more merchandise sales which gives him a much larger pay. In closing, if CM Punk had actually left WWE because guys like Daniel Bryan, Titus O' Neil, & Batista are getting pushes & he's not in the main event picture (yet) then that's very selfish on his part. |
To put bluntly, this entire post is bullshit. It's a fact that Batista is a top draw for WWE and I'm sorry but Zack Ryder, Kofi Kingston, or Wade Barrett won't sell out arenas. What I'm about to tell you might hurt but during the summer of CM Punk, there were no boost in event or merchandise sales. Why push talent who isn't a fan favorite among the majority of the WWE Universe NOT the IWC? It would be a bad business move if WWE were to book CM Punk v.s. Daniel Bryan in the main event at Wrestlemania 30 DESPITE that the Internet Wrestling Community would love it because the majority of fans won't. WWE uses wrestling as a vehicle. They're competition is Disney rather then TNA. Until the IWC realizes that WWE no longer is a wrestling promotion they're going to be very upset over the next few years as the entertainment expect of WWE continues to thicken and they slowly get rid of the wrestling in World Wrestling Entertainment. Deal with it! |
